This week we are focusing on contractions and learned what an apostrophe marks are
Inquiry into Simple Machines
Students began building their Leprechaun traps. If the written portion of their package is not complete it was sent back home in the agenda to complete. We sorted out materials and kept a ‘spare parts box’
As a class we reviewed safety in regard to using scissors and glue guns. We talked about how to safely puncture holes using scissors. How/where to hold a hot glue gun. How to squeeze the glue gun and how to press items together using popsicle sticks and not our fingers when using the hot glue gun.
Agenda
- Forms have been sent home regarding SJA’s awesome Adventure Camp. The wonderful camp will run from Monday to Friday both weeks of the March Break (March 9-13 & March 16-20) and is offered to student from JK to Grade 6. Field trips will take place on Thursday afternoons. Meal plans are also included if you chose to do so. Cash or QuickBooks payments only please. Don’t delay; register today!
