Inquiry into Language and Endangered Species
We completed our spelling workout book for the week - learning about pre-fixes
We continued to work on our novel study completing chapters 11 and 12
We then went on to describe the two main characters of the story and added some learner profile and attitudes to our descriptions.
We also picked our favourite part of the story.
We also did a small story re-tell.
Inquiry into Math
We continued to learn about Area. We learned that 2 half squares make 1 whole square in our counts
Today we did our math review - parents please note that I read the question as butterfly instead of ladybug to the students so their answers may be incorrect. Please have them correct it on their review pages and tomorrow and I will explain to them my error!

We completed our spelling test from Friday.
We then went on to complete our Ontario Writing Assessment a persuasive advertisement about a new made candy.
