Math: today students discussed our math unit on patterning. We reviewed what a pattern is, what makes up a pattern, and gave some examples. Students then reviewed the 5 attributes for patterning and sorting.

Inquiry into Language
Today we completed our booklet titled a recipe for a great school year. Students completed various sheets about themselves, the school and their favourite things.

Reflection with academic focus
today we learned what the learner profile of Inquirer was. Students gave their own examples of what they thought an Inqurier is. We then read a story about an inquirer:

We discussed how Curious George was an inquirer in the story. Once we were done we wrote our definition of an inquirer and then drew a picture of us being an inquirer. Once we were completed the picture we wrote how we are inquirers in our everyday lives:

Happy Birthday Gurbani!
