Day 29

Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.

UOI with language focus- Today we continued to work on what a noun is - person, place, or thing. We also learned what a verb is - an action word, something you do. We then completed a noun and verb sort of given words.

Math - 
today we began reviewing for our test which will be next Tuesday. Today we reviewed 1 or 2 more or less then a given set of objects. A review package will be sent home over the weekend.

UOI -

Today we talked about our new unit of inquiry! We discussed what a Palaeontologist is, and what they do. We looked at books of dinosaurs and described their features. We discussed arms, legs, necks, tails, claws, jaws. We then decided upon a two legged or four legged template. We drew our own dinosaurs based on the features we described.
