Crazy Hair and Colourful Clothing Day

We had some crazy hair styles today! Good work everyone!

We spent the majority of our day putting the final touches on our summative assessments. Everyone is pretty much finished.

After much discussion today about protecting our clothing, rolling up or sleeves and not walking around with paint brushes we still managed to paint most of ourselves and clothing. I am sorry this happened but please know that it is crayola washable paint and should come off with a wipe from a wet cloth.

Tomorrow we are headed to the science centre, students must be in their full dress uniform to represent the school. I also ask that they please bring a disposable lunch (including bag) and water bottle both with their name written on it. Students will only need their coats tomorrow as we will be gone the full day only outside for the walk to and from the bus. The bus leaves at 9am sharp please ensure you give yourself enough time to make it to the school as we cannot wait for long in order to keep on schedule.

We also completed the pre-assessment for our next OWA (Ontario Writing Assessment) we will be learning how to write a letter in the form of an opinion piece. We will learn parts of a letter and how to state our opinion with supporting facts.
