Spirit week is fast approaching! This is a fun filled week that we look forward to every year and it is a great lead up to March Break. Spirit week will run from Monday, March 6-Friday, March 10. Please see schedule below!
Monday, March 6 - PJ Day - come dressed in your cozy PJ's!
Tuesday, March 7 - Crazy Hair/Colourful Outfit Day - come dressed in colourful colours and/or with crazy hair!
Wednesday, March 8 - Princess/Superhero Day - come dressed as your favourite superhero or princess!
Thursday, March 9 - House colours - come dressed head to toe in your house colour!
Friday, March 10 - St. Patrick's Day Spirit - come dressed in your finest St. Patrick's Day attire!
Today we had a bit of an off day as The Maples Academy joined us for the afternoon and we cheered on SJA including our very own ANSHI for the final poem/speech competition of the school year. Congratulations to Anshi who came in third in the primary division beating out her Maples competitor whoop whoop!!!!!
Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.
UOI with language focus- Today we completed our OWA assessment a journal retell about what we would do on a snow day! Unfortunately I could not take pictures of this activity as it is used for grading for the report cards.
