Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.
UOI with language focus- Today we completed Chapter 10 of our novel study The Chocolate Touch. Things keep getting worse for poor John Midas! Ask your child to retell what we read today!

Math-today we completed a quick activity on 3D shapes, students used the special markers on shape manipulatives to find out the amount of faces, edges, and vertices.
UOI - Today we discussed the beginning stages of our summative that will come home tomorrow. Students had to think of a problem in their lives and how they would want to solve it. I didn't take pictures because there are some good ones out there and I want them to be a surprise. Students will be making a list of materials they need for their invention, I have been saving some boxes and things as well.
