Language 

Today in language we learned 'r' and 'l' blends using our spelling workout book:

Student led conferences 

Today students were given their packages to begin their self-assessment. We started by me reading each sentence to them and explaining what it meant. They thought about it and gave themselves either an 'O' for outstanding, 'S' for satisfactory and 'N' for needs improvement on each section.

Math 
Today we worked on related facts.
Students were given the criteria below
1. Must have 2 addition and 2 subtract
2. Subtraction - you must start with your highest numbers both times
3. addition - you must use your smaller numbers both times

Example.
7,5,12
12-5=7, 12-7=5,5+7=12, 7+5=12

• Pick-a-time now open - reminder that students are leading this meeting and are required to be there
• The school is requesting each class take Christmas themed pictures to display for the Christmas concert. 
  We have been given the theme of hanging stockings.
  I thought it would be cute to do this in PJS as well! 
  I am asking if you could please send in a pair of Jammie’s and a stocking on Monday/Tuesday. 
  We will change and do our photos on Wednesday.
