UOI with language focus-
today we continued to focus on detailed sentences. We wrote some as a class and then students were given the topic of rain to write about. They were given the checklist below
Math -
Today we began the concept of time. We discussed things that would take longer and we learned about telling time to the hour. We discussed the big hand (minute) small hand (hour). We talked about morning, noon, and afternoon. We then practiced making times on our clocks and completing our math makes sense work books.
UOI -
today we discussed what a carnivore, herbivore and omnivore are. We completed a sorting activity to help us remember these concepts.
