Raz Kids 15 minutes - new passwords were sent in the agendas due to an issue

Spelling sentences - one sentence for every word - due Friday, Spelling test Friday - 5 detailed 5 regular sentences

Novel Study:
Today we finished our novel study by reading the last two chapters. We answered comprehension questions:

Math: 

We worked on using coins to solve problems. For example one question in our book stated that we had 75 cents in 6 coins. We worked together as a class to model how to add coins to find our answer.

Then we were given a problem that 3 friends found 50 cents and needed to split it fairly amongst them. Students became stumped when they got to 48 cents and then realized their wasn't enough left over to share. Someone came up with a great suggestion!

Unit of Inquiry 

Today students continued presenting their summative assessments.
