Arts' Night Photos

First we had French with Mlle. Jessica, you can check out her blog at

Math - today students began our last unit of the year. We talked about what mass and capacity meant. We then completed some activities to help us put the definitions we just learned into practice. Students then predicted the mass of 4 objects to weigh in order of lightest to heaviest. Tomorrow we will check on a scale to see if their predictions were correct.

Language - today students listened to chapter 3 of our novel study and completed comprehension questions based on Magic Treehouse Afternoon on the amazon.

Jack and Annie are in the Amazon rain forest, time stands still in Frog Creek, PA. It somehow looks like they've landed on bushes. Annie thinks they can climb out the window and starts climbing out. Jack cautions her and finds out that they are actually 150 - 200 ft. above ground in the forest canopy. Anne is alerted just in time and climbs back in. They go down the old fashioned rope ladder into the cool and damp understory.

Inquiry into habitats - students worked on sorting animals into their appropriate habitats

We ended our day by having gym class with Ms. Yustin, you can check out her blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.ca/
