On Thursday, May 10th, we would like to invite to our SJA parents and guardians to attend our upper school theatre performance of Romeo and Juliet being hosted at the University of Toronto Mississauga MiST Theatre (3359 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5L 1C6) for FREE! The performance will begin at 6:30pm.
For your enjoyment, SJA PYP teachers will be hosting a FREE SJA dance in the SJA auditorium for your children, so you can sit back and relax. The dance drop off will begin at 6:00pm.
To reserve your tickets for the dance and the theatre performance, please e-mail Kaitlin at reception@stjudesacademy.com. Limited tickets are available and are available on a first-come first-served basis.
Spelling Bee
In class completion May 11th - 3 finalists will move on to the stage competition on May 15th

For arts’ night our class will be required to come dressed as “old people” as determined by Mr. Oliver.
Students will need to bring their outfits by Friday for performances including a video performance. Dates will be relayed in a few days as to when the outfits need to be brought in.

We continued working on matching parts of images as it is a bit tricky for some of us

Today students were told that a boy named Carlos who lives in Mexico is thinking of moving to Mississauga and to attend our school. BUT he needed to be convinced as to why he should join our school. Students used their new found opinion writing skills to draft a brainstorm of their ideas. Tomorrow they will write a letter to Carlos telling him all their ideas.
