Inquiry into Language
Today students completed their spelling test of their words of the week.
Students who didn't finish yesterday also completed their OWA post assessment
Students listened to the final chapter in our novel study Horrible Harry and the Holidaze. It was about Secret Santas. Students then answered the comprehension questions for the chapter.
Once completed students answered a quiz about the entire book.
Inquiry into Math
Today students learned the difference between a prism and a pyramid. Prisms is a solid with two congruent bases connected by rectangles. A pyramid is a solid with one base and a point connected by triangles.
Students then moved on to count faces, vertices, and edges of a pentagonal prism, hexagonal pyramid, triangular prism and a square pyramid.

Table groups were given a challenge:
Students then brainstormed what types of materials they would need for this project. Once done they made a list
Once this was completed students then drew and labelled a sketch of their vehicle
