Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.
UOI with language focus-
Today we began working on our Gingerbread cookie mini unit! We started with reviewing what adjectives are and then we brainstormed some adjectives to describe a gingerbread cookie! Next we colour code how we would eat a gingerbread cookie!!!
The first bite orange then second bite red the third bite green and the fourth bite blue.
Tomorrow we will continue with how to eat a gingerbread cookie.

Math -
Today we continued our new unit about addition and subtraction by creating our own addition story. This addition story had to add to ten! We reviewed groups of numbers that added to 10 as well as how they can be written in two ways. Example;
1+9= 10 or 9+1= 10
1+9= 10 or 9+1= 10
Inquiry into Organization
today students were given the task of organizing a dresser. They were given four drawers and had to decide how to sort their clothes. Students labelled the drawer ex. shirts, pants, socks, PJs. Then they cut out pictures from catalogues to put in the drawers.
