UOI with language focus
we have been focusing very hard on writing journal entries. Students have been working on writing journals with an opening sentences, a sentence beginning with first, a sentence beginning with then, a sentence beginning with next, and a closing sentence ending with Lastly. Students have been writing journals based on subject such as; Santa lent you his elves for the day, write a journal recount telling what you did with them. Or Santa lent you his sleigh today, write a journal recount detailing what you did with it.

we have been focusing on addition and subtraction stories by creating our own and solving ones given. We have been practicing reading and solving word problems and solving basic addition and subtraction to 12. Students have been taught to use pictures numbers and words when creating their own stories this will be for the test too.

We have continued working on organizing our ideas and our writing about Goldilocks and why we think she should or should not be grounded.
We interviewed Baby Bear and Goldilocks in order to find out problems and feelings to aid us in our decision.
