Daily 5 - We reviewed what we discussed yesterday about classroom rules. We then discussed what we thought a good listener would be. We completed a diagram of a good listener.

Math: today students discussed our math unit on patterning. We talked about what a pattern is, what makes up a pattern, and gave some examples. Students then learned the 5 attributes for patterning and sorting.

Inquiry into Language
Today we started working on a booklet titled a recipe for a great school year. Students completed various sheets about themselves, the school and their favourite things.
We talked about our new unit of inquiry: relationships, rules, and responsibilities. We reviewed as a class about what each one of those words meant. We then complied a class list of School Rules we thought to be important:
