Inquiry into Language

Today students completed their pre-assessment for their Ontario Writing Assessment (OWA). Students were required to create a list of recess rules they think to be very important. Please do not be alarmed . . . it was not a TEST! We complete a pre assessment before each OWA to see student prior knowledge and find out where we go next. We also use this data when completing our OWA graphs to show how each child changed over the term.

Math and language centres

we ended our day with some fun math centres (patterning and addition) and language centres (cursive practice.)

We ended our day by have gym class with Ms. Jans, you can check out her blog at https://janspe1.blogspot.ca/
