Today students completed their spelling test for the words of the week

Here are some posters to help us with Motion Geo!
Today we continued to learn about turns/rotations . We discussed how 1 turn is a 1/4 turn, how 2 turns is a 1/2 turn and how 3 turns is a 3/4 turn. We talked about how clockwise means the object travelled in the right direction and counterclockwise means the object turned in the left direction.
I show students a strategy to help them know left or right and how to count the turns.
Draw a "t" down the middle and label left right. Each part of the "t" passed counts as a turn
this shows a clockwise three quarter turn!

- December Lunches
- The lunch site is now open, it will close Wednesday, November 20th at 3:00pm Special of the month: Spaghetti and Meatballs which is available every Friday. All payments are to be made through quickbooks by December 6th
- Summative home students are to complete the attached pages (not the rubrics) by next Tuesday. Students will then bring the information back to school and turn it into a storybook.
