Important Dates and Reminders

  • Track and field Friday - PLEASE wear GYM uniform 
  • summative assessment presentations have been moved to Monday. They will come home this weekend so students can practice. Please do not make changes to the actual project itself.

- Our outfit for that night is a plain black t-shirt, jeans, a baseball cap and running shoes!

Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.

UOI with language focus-Today we began our novel study on Flat Stanley the Original adventure. We finally got to learn how Stanley became flat! After reading chapter 1 as a class we wrote a journal telling about how Stanley became flat.

Math- Today we continued our new unit on 2D figures/attributes/symmetry/time to half hour.  We looked at figures and their attributes. We reviewed 2D shapes with the number of sides and vertices. Then we worked on explaining the similarities and differences of 2D shapes with real world      




UOI -   We also continued learning about different habitats. In our table groups we continued creating flip flap books about the desert, forest, ocean, and the arctic

Today we watched the high school Shakespeare play to show our support!
