Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.
UOI with language focus- Today we began creating our own FLAT story. Students created their Flat character today. They described the character's looks and favourite things.

Math- today we continued working on our new unit. We worked in partners in a race against each other for house points to answer addition and subtraction problems.
We then worked by ourselves to solve addition and subtraction word problems.
UOI - we heard about a special thing that happened in Quinntin's home last night! His Gecko molted it's skin! We even got to touch it!!!!!! Quinntin told us about how sometimes they eat the skin, and save water in their bodies for when they molt their skin. We even watched a short youtube clip so we could experience what Quinntin did last night!
