Lost and Found

When you have a moment, please sort through the Lost & Found items and take what belongs to your child(ren). 

At end of day Monday, May 29th, all items except for uniform pieces will be donated to a local charity.

There will be a medal ceremony for SJA's Top 3 Spelling Bee winners for each grade. May 18th 9:00am!

- Our outfit for that night is a plain black t-shirt, jeans, a backwards baseball cap and running shoes!

Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.

UOI with language focus-Today we read chapter 3 of Flat Stanley. We then worked on summarizing the chapter in a journal entry. (Summarizing will be part of DRA testing in grade 2)

Math- 

We continued to practice symmetry as it is a tricky concept for us! We also looked at fair shares and time to the half hour (review from a previous unit)

At the end of the day we got to water balloon the teachers!!! Sorry I did not get any pictures of this as my phone is not waterproof!
