Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.

UOI with language focus-Today we did a brainstorm for our new novel study. We worked in table groups to come up with ideas how we think the character FLAT STANLEY became flat. We then shared our ideas with the class.

Math- Today we continued our new unit on 2D figures/attributes/symmetry/time to half hour.  We looked at figures and their attributes. We worked on explaining the similarities and differences of shapes. 

UOI -  today we spent our time working on our summative assessment in class for our Art unit. 

We also began learning about different habitats. In our table groups we began creating flip flap books about the desert, forest, ocean, and the arctic
