Day 74


Welcome Back!!!!! Happy New Year!!!


We started by writing our agenda note

  • Raz Kids 15 minutes 
  • Please remember to return black shoes and gym shoes - students have gym every day and need a pair of running shoes at school. 
  • Please send an extra pair of socks and snow pants as our playground is quite deep in snow and many of us had wet feet and legs. 
  • Math test next Friday.
  • Summative outline home tomorrow.
  • Speeches outline home tomorrow.

 Math

We have moved on to work on subtraction sometimes with borrowing. Today we practiced reading word problems and solving them as a class. We even made our own!


Language

Today we worked on interviewing a new friend for 2018 and setting our 2018 goals

Students were given time today to discuss with their friends what they did over the Christmas break

Dear SJA Parents and Guardians,

As you are aware, the re-registration season is upon us and we have recently sent home
packages with your child(ren). We value your loyalty and commitment to our school
community and would love to continue our partnership by offering priority enrollment for our
current SJA families.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to review your financial statement and complete the
information in the package and make any necessary changes to your place of residence,
employment, email changes or any medical information that the administration should be
aware of.

Please be aware that in order to secure your child’s enrolment, it is imperative that you submit
your re-enrollment package and fees no later than February 12, 2018 at 4:00pm. After this
date, all available grade-level spaces will be open to our families on waitlists who will then have
the opportunity to secure any vacant positions.
