Math
Today students continued their data management unit. Students worked in pairs to each spin a spinner broken into two different sized sections. Students labeled the sections A and B. Each section represented a snow ball to draw for a snow person. Each time the spinner landed on section A the students would draw a snow ball on their paper under section A and so forth until they had each spun 5 times. Students then had to decide how come section A or B won. Students figured out that the spinner was more than likely going to land on the section that took up the most space on the spinner.

Inquiry into Language

Students brainstormed and then wrote a journal re-tell for their Ontario writing assessment. Students were told to close their eyes and imagine they were just waking up.They stretch get out of bed and look out the window. They see more snow then they have ever seen before. They were then told it is the next day and to write a re-tell about their snow day.

We ended our day by having gym class with Ms. Yustin, you can check out her blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.ca/
