Inquiry into Language 

Today students took turns reading pages aloud from our novel study, chapter 4

Once the chapter was read we worked as a class how to properly answer the questions in sentence form. As a class we wrote each questions template and students were responsible for filling in the information.

Inquiry into Simple Machines
Today students completed a KWL chart about what they know about simple machines and what they want to learn. Students then picked one of their want to learns to add to our wonder wall. Afterwards students watched a Science Max video about Simple Machines. Once it was complete students filled in what they learned from the video on their KWL chart.

Once completed students worked on a Simple Machines word search to learn new vocabulary for this unit

Inquiry into Math

Students learned about Congruent figures. We talked about how to identify congruent figures as they have the same shape and size but one shape may be rotated.
