Today we discussed what a good listener was. We talked about what hands, legs, ears, eyes and mouths are doing when you are being a good listener. We then each completed a diagram of a good listener.

UOI with Language focus -
Today we continue to work on our recipe for a great school year booklet. Here students filled in pages about themselves (favourites, family) and about our school and me!
Math -
Today in math we completed the pre-assessment for our patterning unit. Students were given unified cubes and asked to build me a pattern. When they completed their pattern students were asked to describe their pattern to me. This was recorded on a rubric and will be used in our math assessments.
UOI -
We continued our chat about different rules, today as a class we made a list of rules for
the school/hallways

Reflection using Math Journal -
In our reflection journals we made a graph to track what the weather is like, we discussed how graphs start at the bottom box and we keep adding data to it.
We coloured the number of days we have been at school so far in our 100 chart
We learned what a ten frame was and how to record in it (each square gets only one dot) and we added a dot to two squares to count our 100 days.
