There seems to be a bit of confusion, I apologize that my expectation was not clear. Just to clarify the spelling words should be in a complete sentence for example: the word bath
1) I took a bath last night before bed.
Daily Five -
Today we practiced our listen to reading skills. We read the book Bucket Filling from A to Z. We talked about the learner profile of Principled and how Principled people are bucket fillers. We then learned about our bucket filling contest. Students who do good deeds and fill a student's bucket will be nominated to win the bucket filler trophy.

UOI with Language focus -
Today we talked about capitals, periods, and question marks. We learned proper names like days of the week, months, people need to have capitals today. We also learned that telling sentences tell us something and end in a period. Where as asking sentences ask something that needs an answer. We also learned that asking sentences end with a question marks.

We continued our chat about different rules, today we picked the rule we felt was the most important and finished our poster about it to teach others in the school.
