Today students wrote a journal recount of our trip to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. It was amazing to see some of the facts that the students remembered!
Inquiry into Citizenship
Today students put the finishing touches on their Summative projects. Students are allowed to bring them home tonight to practice their presentation but with some expectations
1. that no changes be made to what was done on their visual component
2. it is brought back tomorrow to present, if forgotten we will not have time on Monday and I will not be able to mark the presentation portion of the project
Gym
Math
Today students continued their new math unit on Data Management. Students reviewed what an attribute is (size, shape, colour, direction, pattern - number, letter, amount) We then extended our learning from yesterday by sorting shapes given into these categories and also sorting and placing shapes on three sorting circles (Venn Diagram). Students have one question on page 99 to complete tonight for homework.
