Inquiry into Immigration and Migration
Today students learned listened to the story of Carly a refugee to get an understanding of some of the reasons people choose to move from one country to another. We then discussed other reasons why people may choose to leave the country they live in. We came up with examples about health care needs, jobs and family! All excellent pull factor examples!

We then looked at a video that showed us different types of transportation used by people over the centuries. We looked at how these modes have changed over time. We discussed how some of these may have been used for people to migrate.
