Inquiry into Language -
Today students reviewed what an adjective is . . .a word that describes a noun! We then took it one step further and developed a list of adjectives based on sight, sound, taste, touch, feelings and shapes.
Afterwards students were given an ice cream cone and asked to use at least 7 adjectives to describe it!

Inquiry into Citizenship
Today was the day! Our big important decision had to be made! First we learned exactly what voting was. We watched this little clip to help our understanding

We talked about why voting is important and how it has changed! Some of us were very irked to learn us women could not vote at one point!
Then we took all of our knowledge about why we need/don't need math and made an INFORMED decision and voted!!!
We did a really good job thinking about everyone in the school's well being and how their life would be without math. 18 of us voted to keep the math program and only 1 voted to get rid of it!
