Inquiry into Language -
Today students completed their spelling test.
Math
Today students worked on ordinal numbers. They were each given a card ranging from 81st to 100th and asked to figure out where they belong in a line. Students worked together (with some arguing) and made a correct ordinal number line! Afterwards we worked in our math books continuing work in ordinal numbering using a 100 chart and grid.

Inquiry into Citizenship
Today students finished their paper plate cities!
Then we moved on to an Art activity that we will be using for the report card and Arts' Night display. Students learned about lines and contrast. First they traced both their hands. Then they made different line patterns on the hands. Next they coloured one hand in dark colours and one hand in light colours.
There will be a written component, which will happen next week!
