Today students completed their first Ontario Writing Assessment (OWA) they completed it show me their prior knowledge on letter writing and recounting. Over the course of the term we will learn letter writing and how to recount a series of events. We will then re-write the same OWA for final assessment marks. Students will be required to write a letter to a friend (who was away sick) recounting the things they missed during the school day.

Today we got together with Ms. Coldwells class and watched some videos telling us what is a good citizen, how to be one, and about the things that we should say.

After the videos we talked about ways we saw of how we can be a good citizen, kind things we can say to others and then Ms. Smith challenged us!!!!! For the rest of the week we have to say something kind to at least once person each day!
