Inquiry into Language

Students worked in partners to read about Terry Fox they then completed comprehension questions to show their understanding. 

Math

Today we continued to review rounding to the nearest 100 as some of us are still confused by this.

Reflection 
Today students looked at our Novel Study book. Song Lee in Room 2B. They looked at the front cover, they read the back cover, and they looked at the table of contents. They then used this information to predict something they think will happen in the novel.

Inquiry into Citizenship

Today students were told (first they were told this was make believe) that a flood was coming! Their mom and dads have given them one empty suitcase. They have 30 mins to pack their NEEDS to take with them. They open their suitcase but there is a compartment in there that they cannot pack anything into it.
