Students completed two activities to help review these concepts

Inquiry into Citizenship
Students were told yesterday they would have to make an important decision that would have an impact on the whole school. They were told that Mr. Sawatsky is the boss and he has made a decision to cancel the teaching of math at our school. We as the citizens of his community will need to vote on if we agree with his decision or if we think he should keep math.

Today we discussed voting
- who can vote
- why do we vote
- the history of voting
- we learned some new words such as anonymous and majority rules

We reviewed our no and yes reasons from yesterday then as a class voted on whether or not we should keep the math program at St. Jude's
