Inquiry into Language Arts
Today students showed their knowledge on what an Inquirer means to them! First we did a brainstorm bubble to collect our thoughts and ideas of what an inquirer does:
Then we began to make a poster outlining our ideas of
1. What does being an inquirer mean
2. How I can be or When I was an inquirer
3. A picture of us being an inquirer
we will finish our posters tomorrow, then we will vote one to be posted on our display board!
Inquiry into Citizenship
Today students learned that we are all citizens of a community! Our Classroom community!!! We made an all about me flag to get to know each other and to hang up!

Today we completed our pre-test for our first unit on number patterns. Not to worry parents this is not a test per say but rather a way to judge students prior knowledge on this unit and what we need to learn still for this unit. It will happen at the beginning of five of our units in the year, which at the end of the unit all progress made will be graphed and sent home to you in the report cards!
