Students had two full periods today to work on their summative assessments.
Math.
Today students completed their pre-tests to our new number sense and numeration unit. Students will be working on mental math, addition and subtraction strategies and standard algorithms for addition and subtraction.
We then worked on our first two pages in our workbook for this unit using the addition chart to assist us.
We also talked about about doubles facts and fact families as additional ways to help us add.
