Today the students continued their new Geometry unit about transformational geometry. We continued to work on learning positions on a graph and grid and how to explain them. We worked out of our textbooks.

Inquiry into Immigration
Today students took their research of the country they were immigrating to from the other day and wrote a postcard to their moms and dads. They were told they needed to tell their parents why they left Canada and if it was a push or pull factor. They then described their new life to their parents. They then had to draw a picture on the post card of somewhere in that country. Next students tried to write their addresses!
