Today our class won the Golden Broom!!!! We won this for having the tidiest cubby area in the school! It is quite the victory for us.

Inquiry into Language

Today students completed their spelling test due to the short week.

Math

Today the students continued their new Geometry unit about transformational geometry. Today we reviewed turns/rotations . We reviewed clockwise (right) and counterclockwise (left). We then reviewed a quarter turn, half turn, and three quarter turn.  

We learned that turns have a centre they rotate from.
